Mahreen & Shahzad

A friend I used to attend college with recently got married.
I saw her pictures in her Facebook albums and I had to feature her in my blog.
The main colors of their wedding were blue & gold.
The bride & groom look absolutely flawless!

Thanks Mahreen for this submission.

Timing is everything!

Here comes planning time!

Outdoor Weddings

I know a lot of brides that want to have an outdoor wedding.
You always have to plan in advance because of weather.
You don't want it to rain on your wedding day or snow.

The best thing to refer to is the Farmers Almanac.
It's famous for it's long range weather predictions and astronomical data.
It tells you more accurate weather than meteorologists.
It gives you weather for the year in advance and how winter/spring and summer are going to be.

This book is available online at Amazon.com, Borders, Barnes & Noble and many other places. The book is under $15.

Top of your..cake!

No matter how many tiers your cake is, you always want a cake topper!
Not too much going on but not too little.
Usually at weddings you see either a bride & groom at the top of the cake
I found this CUTE South Asian wedding cake topper!

^ haha awww I love it!

Some couples have their initials either in silver or gold metal.

If you want an edible cake topper, when placing your order with the company/business
let them know what you want and how you want it.
They would either use fondant, sugars or gum paste.
It's good to let them know in advance because it does take a while to make.

Top 4 venues (my favorites)

When choosing venues for your wedding you want to be sure there is alot of space, that it has an amazing view and is located in the heart of the city.
My top 4 are...

1. The Taj-Boston
This is my all time favorite venue because Taj Boston is beautiful.
From the location of the hotel to the suites, it's very classy and elegant.
Also, if you're having a summer/spring wedding you can request to have
your wedding on the roof. Which is very spacious and has an amazing view.

2. The Four Seasons - Boston
This hotel has an amazing location and a perfect view of Boston.
The function room/hall has alot of space, so if you have alot of guests this would be perfect!

3. Omni Parker House - Boston
Very spacious, historic hotel. Location is downtown Boston.
You have an amazing view of the city/water.

4. The Living Room- Boston
This venue is good for receptions. It's very modern.
The drinks are excellent and the food is amazing.
It's located near the North End by the water.
Good location. Good food. Good times.

Placecard holders

Here are some unique placecards/placecard holders.
