Top 5

Wedding songs! No wedding is complete without music. I'm going to list my five favorite songs to play at a wedding. Including entrance, reception, cake cutting and dance floor madness!

1. Desi Boyz- Jhak Maar Ke-- Something about it, I just love.
2. Ek Tha Tiger- Saiyaara-- Sweet and calm
3. Aaja Naachle- O Re Piya
4. Navin Kundra- Tere Liye--All time favorite
5. Nauman Khalid- Desi Thumka-- Great song to dance to ( i always rock out to it in my car)

I know there's a ton more but I just can't think of them as of right now. Will update more soon.

Fall/Winter Wedding Color Schemes

Good morning!

I've gotten alot of questions from my friends asking what colors they should use for their wedding. After doing some research for Fall/Winter weddings, this is what I thought of.

An October/November bride would have brown, peach, red, orange--dark colors almost at her wedding to set "earth tones". Now by all means, you can go ahead and have that damask pink and green that you've always wanted for your wedding, but if you want it to fit the season going with darker earthier tones would be your best bet. For table centerpieces you can do flowers with branches that have beads hanging down from them. Colorful leaves and colorful beads. You can put a pumpkin as a centerpiece if you want and put leaves all over the table. It's really ultimately up to you. Talk to your friends about certain ideas you can use but any dark color would do.

A December bride would have reds, blues, whites, ivories, silver, black. This is only for a December themed wedding but you can use any color you would like for your dream wedding. If you stick to colors like white and ivory then just make sure you have a pop of color such as a red or a color that really sticks out!\

Be back soon

NYC Venues

Here's some venues I found that really caught my eye. These are more on the fancy side...but they do have their perks.

1. Gotham Hall
1356 Broadway
New York, NY 10018

"Make your event truly sparkle."
"Come inside. And enter a world where style meets sophistication. "

At a whopping $275/plate minimum this hall has stained glass and is a huge statement maker.

2. Pierre, A Taj Hotel Ballroom
2 East 61st Street
New York, NY 10065

A Taj Hotel Ballroom is a little bit more pricier than other venues because they offer every service from linens, tables, menu-tasting and help with vendors. They even throw in a complimentary bridal suite! If you're looking for an amazing place with everything included, this is your venue!

3. Andaz

There are many Andaz hotels around New York City Metro area. My favorite is located on Wall Street. As you know (kendall jenner) had her birthday at Andaz and it looked amazingly decked out in decorations. There are very spacious areas and the ballroom is huge. (the name kinda sounds a little Indian, innit? ;))

4. Cordon Bleu Banquet Hall
9601 Jamaica Avenue
Queens, NY

This hall is not located in Manhattan but it is not too far from it either. Cordon Bleu has very spacious rooms/halls and can fit a great amount of people. The hall itself is decorated in mirrors and wall murals which make it more appealing. You won't know until you pay them a visit! I'm sure you won't be dissapointed.

That's all for NYC venues now, back with more later.
