Amit & Nicky

The first couple that is featured is Amit & Nicky. A beautiful, happy go lucky and vibrant couple!
Going through the pictures, what I loved about this couples' summer wedding is the amazing color and decor that they picked out. It was very elegant but still had a chic girly touch to it.
Thank you for this submission by Shadi Paradise.

They say pictures are worth a thousand words, these are worth a million.
Congratulations Amit & Nicky and cheers to an everlasting romance!

color me pink, blue & white

If you're planning a wedding sometime in the future keep these 3 popular colors in your head

1) Pink/Orange- Both are very beautiful colors. Very girly.
When having the dominant color be pink or orange at your wedding make sure to use tons of candles to set a "soft" mood.
It makes the mood seem more romantic and you'll feel like a total princess.

2) Blue- NOT just any blue, "tiffany & co blue". Every woman dreams of receiving a little blue Tiffany & Co box. There are many decor/centerpieces/tablecloths this color and looks very classy.

3) The color that goes with everything, white!
Basically if you have white at your wedding you can add in any color to match along with it.
Usually you either see black, pink or brown.
This is a contemporary look.
If you use white make sure you are
very creative with your wedding centerpieces and favors.

Decor & More

So as I was looking at some wedding websites i came across this website called decorandmore.com. Basically they help you with your wedding/club/lounge and interior designs. I was blown away at the wedding section of it!

Who's invited?

Let's talk about wedding invitations
When choosing invitations they need to look presentable!
You don't want a wedding invitation thats plain & boring.
Some wedding invitations I stumbled upon:

Hamesha Ke Liye
So cute!

What I love about these invitations is that they're classy and elegant. There's not too much going on and not too many words! You don't want your invitation being a book.
Also not too many colors, they stuck with one color scheme and made it stand out.

Wedding favor time!

I was so excited to post this because I LOVE wedding favors!
They are the last minute details to your wedding.
Most favors are range from $1-$10 if you buy 24 or more quantities.

Here are some super cute spring wedding favors!

Wedding Website

So, I found this cute website called theknot.com

You can do anything and everything on this website for your wedding. It has ideas of cakes, songs, favors, flowers...everything wedding! It also has a wedding checklist! I think this is the smartest idea anyone has came up with because when planning your wedding you want to make sure you are organized.
Once the task is done and completed you can check it off and move on to the next task!

What's also fun about this website is you can make your own wedding website!
You get your own personal web address, have hundreds of unique designs to choose from, share your story, gift registry and pictures. Basically a website about you and your Dulha.

Dulhan & Dulha's time to shine

Heres some pictures I found of wedding/mendhi mandaps (stages)

This stage picture is from Wedding Events India

If you want more a modern look for your Mandap try colors/designs like these:
What I love about this picture is the pillows! The mandap set is very simple but the designs on the pillows is what makes the stage stand out more.

^My all time favorite!

This stage is so chic! I love it.

Enhancing the stage

Today, alot of brides use beaded door curtains. These curtains run from $10 - $75 depending on where you get them from & how many you buy
It adds color, elegance and simplicity
Just place these beaded door curtains behind the back two pillars of your mandap. They can be placed anywhere but the best place would be the stage
